This client really needed a change! Color was done by Heather Cie formally working at Meche and Tracey Cunninghams protege. The cut needed a modern twist to a pixie that would look great on her face! All my years learning under Chris Mcmillan the pixie is a 101 haircut! She loved the final result.

I absolutely love this client! A native California girl now New York based wanted to see me in Nyc working out of Salon Dima. When she was living in Los Angeles She got her hair cut at all the top salon in Beverly hills Meche, Chris Mcmillan salon and Byrons. She wanted to come to Cie Sparks Salon in Malibu last month to see me while visiting in Los Angeles but unfortunatly our timing never matched up, luckily I told her I was in Nyc working every other month! She booked in and Beautiful hair with a soft fringe around her cheeks was the final result. I also cut off about three inches in length.

We decided to add movement while keeping her hair long! When I was working at Meche salon we decided to go short and cut it off, but since seeing me at The Chris Mcmillan salon we have decided to keep her hair growing long. Traveling all the way from San Diego, she now sees me at Cie Sparks salon in Malibu or Ramirez Tran salon in Beverly hills…. Malibu hair with a classy feel!
Michael Sparks is a Santa Cruz native. He started out assisting a trio of famed hair stylists at the prestigious Chris McMillan Salon: Mara Rozak, Leanne Citrone, and Jen Atkens.
This training lead him to train under Chris McMillan for several years. Recently, Michael decided to take his talents to the long awaited Ramirez Tran Salon. Michael's inspiration comes from runways, editorial, and everyday life.
